I love paper crafts of all kinds. I've been making paper craft toys, gifts and decorations all my life. I've collected paper craft patterns and designs for unique crafts made from paper since I was a kid: folded paper, cut and paste paper crafts, woven and stitched paper crafts and all sorts of useful or decorative items made from recycled card stock, cartons, boxes and papers.
Making crafts with folded, cut or woven paper is an artistic, creative and easy hobby for just about anyone. If you're extremely ambitious, you can make paper crafted furniture, masks, decorative sculptures or a parade float!

I Love Crafts Made From Paper
Here's Why I Love Paper Crafts
I really enjoy paper crafts for several reasons. First, there are so many things I can create from a few pieces of colorful paper or card stock! I can even design my own craft papers with clip art or use wrapping paper and magazine pages for green paper craft projects. It's so interesting to see the beauty anyone can create from recycled papers while paper crafting.
The second reason I really love crafting with paper is that paper crafts range from simple to complex. Some intricate paper crafts are actually made from a bunch of simple components - a simple folded petal shape created several times becomes a fancy star, flower or bow with three dimensional appeal. A shaped window or decorative mat cut from a piece of card stock frames or crops the collage of colorful paper pieces below it.
Another important reason I love paper crafts: paper as an art medium is safe. Crafting with paper creates no fumes and requires no harsh solvents or chemicals. Many non-toxic paper adhesives are available for paper crafts.
Most of all I like the fact that paper crafting is a green hobby. I buy recycled craft papers and I use discarded magazines or newspapers, gift wrap and bags to make many of my paper crafts. When you craft with recycled materials or left over papers and cardboard, paper crafts are also green and frugal. Punched, pierced and paper designs are popular in many cultures around the world. Cut paper crafts can be as simple as paper snowflakes or paper chains, or as complex as papel picado, the beautifully crafted Mexican paper banners hung for fiesta celebrations.

- I prefer to use the easy paper crafts because I buy so much of the colored paper in bulk wholesale and its fun to layer the various sizes and colors together in each project I do.
