Best Parental Control Software | PC Tattletale Software Review

If you are looking for the best parental control software, I highly recommend PC Tattletale. PC Tattletale is a parental control and internet monitoring software for parents concerned about their children safety on the internet.

It uses a powerful key logger to monitor keystrokes entered and allows parents to record keyboard activity. It is an all-in-one software option that can be used to help in blocking kids from adult sites. Your children need to be held accountable for their actions, and if they get into something they shouldn't then PC Tattletale is there as a safety net to allow you to protect them from something that might harm them.

I've used PC tattletale on my kids's computer and it was very easy to use and understand. I could see the type of sites my kids are visiting and what they entered. The powerful key logger in PC Tattletale can record passwords, keyboard shortcuts, and all keystrokes by application, by date and time.

Every time your child starts their computer and goes online, PC Tattletale parental control software goes to work, automatically taking screen shots of everything they do on-line so you can monitor what they do and keep them safe. The only disadvantage I can find is it only supports internet explorer at this time of writing.

There are also other features in PC Tattletale. For example, it includes the ability to record Myspace activity, chat room and instant message conversations, all keystrokes typed, emails both sent and received, software programs accessed, screenshots set at intervals, Internet activity and of course the ability to block and filter inappropriate content on the Internet. It can even block web sites by URL or by a keyword/phrase.

I'm not utilizing all of the features but it's good to know the option is there to turn it on if I need to. Also, I notice it did not slow the computer down at all unlike the previous software I've brought which just took ages to turn on.

PC Tattletale is the best parental control software I've used and I highly recommend PC TattleTale if you are looking for a all in one parental control and internet monitoring software. It's fast and easy to use. There are video tutorials as well to show you how to use PC TattleTale.

Great Review, I'll have to check out that software. Since I have a 18 month old, I've been thinking a lot about his security on the internet when he grows up. If you have a chance check out my Parental Internet Control blog. I intend to use it as a research tool where I'll document my hunt for the best software.
