The NEWLY REBUILT Beach Palace opened on December 2007.

We are VIP Palace Premier members and love to share our Palace Resorts Timeshare. We have visited the Moon Palace, Aventura Spa Palace, Xpu-Ha Palace, Playacar Palace, Cozumel Palace, Sun Palace, Cancun Palace, Beach Palace and the Vallarta Palace. Each of them are great resorts with their own ambiance and environment.

The beach at Beach Palace is currently very limited to non-existent out front and to the left. However, if you walk to the right when you go to the beach, there is more room for you to enjoy the silky white sand.
After Hurricane Wilma in 2005, the Mexico and Cancun governments had funded a beach re-nourishment, but the hurricane in the fall of 2007 reclaimed some of the Cancun beaches again. Palace Resorts will undertake their own beach restoration project at their Cancun and Beach Palace Resorts. Their intent is to have it completed before the summer of 2008.

Beach Palace has nice swimming pools on the ground level and two pools along with bar service and lunch/snack service on the rooftop. The views from the rooftop (sky) level are outstanding. There is also a rooftop exercise room and a very nice "Stadium" Sports Lounge.

We enjoyed going to all of the area Palace Resorts to enjoy their facilities while we were exploring Cancun. We always use the city bus service to go shopping and checking out what is new in Cancun. The bus service is a great bargain for Cancun transportation at 65 cents U.S. Because transportation is so inexpensive, we were able to take advantage of the entertainment at the other Palace Resorts to fit the vacation schedule that we wanted to keep.

The unlimited free excursions provided by our Palace Premier Membership was, as always, a fabulous bonus. As many times as we have visited the Cancun area, we have never run out of excursions. This time we went to Coba (Mayan ruins) and Wet and Wild which is a water park in Cancun owned by Palace Resorts. The Michael Jackson show at the Cancun Palace on Thursday night was great. We did the Jungle Tour/snorkeling (again). We enjoyed the cooking demonstration at the Cancun Palace.

On our explorations of the Beach Palace we discovered that if you walk out to the beach, turn right and walk approximately two hundred yards you will find the Scorpion's Temple on the right. Look for the rope and follow it to climb to the top. Mayan history is everywhere in the Yucatan and we were again thrilled to find it so close to our resort. The Playacar Palace is also a great resort for being able to explore Mayan history just a few steps away.

We visited all four restaurants and also had room service. Our favorite restaurant was "La Terraza" Steak house. The rib eye, grilled shrimp and lobster biscuit soup were fantastic. The service was outstanding. Other restaurants: are the "Wok" Oriental; "Tequila" Mexican (and breakfast) and "Bocelli" Mediterranean.

The Beach Palace is a great location for those who love the excitement of Cancun.
