White Knight Chronicles I & II
Background

If you have not heard of White Knight Chronicles(I & II), or simply known as WKC, it is a game developed by LEVEL 5, and it was the first project by the company on PS3.
WKC I was released in 2008 and WKC II was then released in 2010. Another version for SONY PSP, White Knight Chronicles: Origins was released in Japan in 2011.
The game starts with customizing your very own character. There are more than 100 details on each part of the body for you to edit, for instance stature, hair, eye brow, nose, lips, mouth, build etc. Thus one can never have a same character as the combinations are just so massive.

However, your character will need AP(a gauze to store up energy bar) to transform. To store up energy, you have to hit your enemies, or getting hit from enemies. Alternatively, items can be used to build up AP faster.

Weapons available include sword, long sword, staff, axe, spear, bow. With the same weapon, you can upgrade your weapons to a more powerful attributes, with add on elemental effect provided you have the required materials and money. Unwanted weapons or armors can be sold off for money, or to be donated to the shops to gain new recipe for new weapons, armor or accessories.

You can learn the basic supportive magic, and also the elemental magic which can cause massive damage to your foes. With staff, you can augment your spell abilities as you will learn different abilities along the way. For example, with high level of staff, you can increase your intelligent and spirit level, which is necessary in increasing your spell power.

Every time you level up, you gain a certain amount of SP(skill points). With each skill points allocated to each weapon or magic, your characters can learn a variety of skills based on personal preferences. You can even create a maximum 7-hit combo for your characters.
