The Best Pumpkin Bread Recipe

Ranked #12,409 in Food & Cooking, #219,257 overall

Is it better to add ingredients like nuts or cheese to a pumpkin bread recipe?

Pumpkin breads are a great dish for fall and the winter, and certainly not just for Halloweeen. I love them served with a really great butter, but that's a treat because of the calories in the butter. The question is whether to add anything else to the recipes. Is pumpkin bread best just as pumpkin bread, or is something like pumpkin banana bread or pumpkin nut bread even better. Everybody has their own favourite and I think the only way to find out is to try them all!

Wow, you've got quite a few different recipes on pumpkin bread here. Personally, I've never tried pumpkin bread, but I use do love banana bread. I've tried pumpkin pie, but you've made me wanna try pumpkin bread now. I think I would like it plain to get the taste of pumpkin. Well done! :)

I have never tried making Pumpkin Bread, but looks like something I do need to do - usually we make the flesh scooped out from our Jack O Lanterns into soup.
