Here is my personal European top 10 list of the best places to visit if you want to find a romantic hideaways with your love

The trip can also be a romantic moment that permits to a loving couple to live a breathtaking experience. I made many travels across the Europe with my girlfriend and I want to give you my personal top ten list of most romantic places across Europe that I would like to submit you for your pleasure. You can also be taken as advice for a sweet weekend with your kindred spirit..

1. Eiffel Tower, Paris (France)

Best European romantic places - Eiffel Tower

The Eiffel Tower is the symbol of the city that is considered the most romantic city in the world. It was built by an engineer, Gustave Eiffel, in just two years for the Universal Exhibition of 1889, a world fair for celebrating the centenary of the French Revolution. Although it was not accepted the first time for its appearance, Eiffel Tower is today one of the most visited monuments in the world. The incredible thing is that it was a temporary building and it was therefore planned its demolition after the Universal Exhibition in 1900. Paris confirms its immortal fame of the city where it is possible to spend tender moments of love with your kindred spirit. There are many romantic places where to say "I love you." to your partner: in partuicular I want to suggest the top of the tower with a panoramic views across the city or the near wonderful Trocadero park

The second place in my personal standing goes to the British Airways London Eye, the world's highest Ferris wheel with its 135 m. This wonderful structure was erected in the heart of London along the River Thames. A slow, relaxing tour on board of this Ferris wheel, a 30 minutes internship, allows passengers to enjoy the famous sights of London from one of the 32 glass-topped and completely closed cabins. At its highest point, with the city of London under your feet, you'll have a wonderful scenario to say "I love you, maybe paying for a private cabin, champagne included.

3. Oia, Santorini (Greece)

Best European romantic places - Oia

At the third place of my personal standing there is Oia (pronounced Ia), a small village in the far north of the Santorini island, in Greece. In addition to be the most beautiful village of Santorini, Oia offers one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world, thanks to its favourable location. Oia tried to keep its charm intact although there are many luxury boutiques and jewelry shops in its main street. The churches with blue domes and white houses overlooking the Aegean Sea create a marvelous setting where you can declare your love for your kindred spirit. The only problem could be the large number of people waiting for the last moment of sunset when the sun dips below the horizon but it is a tradition that everyone keeps silent at that moment

    the castle in Bavaria looks stunning - although I think London is nearer for me. squidliked this as its a great lens with some interesting places to stay to break away from the normal holiday accommodation.
