Cheap Men's Dive Watch: Invicta Pro Diver Scuba Watch

Another Men's Dive Watch WAY under $1000

Invicta makes a line of men's dive watches, the Invicta Pro Diver Men's Dive Watch Collection which is WAY under $1000 -- I think generally they range from $50 to $150. They are rated as water-resistent to 100 meters.

The customer reviews on Amazon were surprisingly good for these dive watches. But I realized that's because if the watch worked fairly well, people LOVED it and gave it a 5-star rating. Sprinkled through the 5 star ratings are a fair number of comments about the quality not being so great -- a piece breaking off; the time not being particularly accurate; the water-resistent feature of the watch not really working. One man said he washed his dog and now the inside of the watch face was fogged with water droplets. A few customer reviews mocked the label 'Pro Diver' saying that no scuba pro would wear such a watch.

My feeling is that if you are buying this watch for yourself and like the looks of one of the Invicta dive watches, then maybe it's worth a try. But I would not buy one of these to give as a watch to your favorite scuba diver, there is too much chance that they will find the watch unusable.

The Invicta's Pro Diver Collection included some of the hottest-selling men's dive watches in 2011. I'd love to see them offer a slightly higher quality watch in 2012. Heck they could double their prices and still compete.

Why are you looking at scuba diving watches?

Obviously a lot of folks stop by without indicating what brought them here. Still I thought surely someone would be shopping for a scuba diving gift for Dad on Father's Day. It's even during the prime scuba season! Course they are pretty pricey! Maybe another neck tie instead.

It has since been improved with a patented triple-seal Triplock winding crown, making it capable of being submerged up to 300 meters. The 40 mm Submariner is shown here with 904L steel and a green Cerachrom disc. Many other faces are available.

Best Price on IWC Aquatimer 2000 Scuba Diving Watch

The IWC Aquatimer 2000 watch is the only watch (as far as I know) rated to be water-resistant to 2000 meters. Impressive in looks and technology, it's not too surprising that the IWC is expensive. But they also hold their value very well. To get a really good price on an IWC Aquatimer 2000 watch, check the Ebay listings below.
