If you are thinking of selling on eBay you need to know which items are in demand. You can sell anything on eBay but I would rather sell what is in high demand. There are a few free tools that you can use to find the top selling items on eBay and this article will explain each of them.

Tool 1 - This is a free tool supplied by eBay to help you find what people are searching for. The basic idea is if people are searching for an item on eBay then most likely it is in demand and people want to buy it. eBay pulse will show you the top ten searches within a product category. So if you want to sell women's shoes then use eBay Pulse to see the top ten types of shoes or brands that people are searching for. Once again the service is free so do some quick research and find a hot product.

Tool 2 - The eBay advanced search tool will allow you to see completed listings. So type in a particular comic book that you found to be in demand and see how many listings completed in a sale versus the number of listings that completed without a sale. You want to make sure that you pick a product that is ending in a high percentage of sales. Once you have this figured out then you need to view the stores or listings to see the exact details about this product.

Tool 3 - In the eBay completed listings you need to view the details of the listings and observe the titles being used in the listings. Basically you want to model your listings after the successful listings.

Once you have completed this task then you need to find a reliable supplier of the product. You can use dropshippers or wholesalers. I prefer to use dropshippers for many reasons. Perhaps in my next article I will explain why.
