    It is my dream that we have our house off the grid some day. I really like the idea of a solar panel on the backpack. Would make hiking so much easier on us.

    Even though I live in a very rainy area, we had a solar panel to run an electric fence. I think that we need to develop more solar ideas. Great lens.

    A very informative lens with lots of cool gadgets. My house is total solar and I'm completely off the grid. It's not a big house but big enough for me and guests and I run it all with solar power. I have bookmarked you for sure and will be gettin some of the cool toys and gadgets later on.

    I love the solar powered toys and decorations! I know these are things we can live without, but as someone in the lighting industry, I really appreciate the value of combining design, function, and energy efficient technology. Thanks for the great lens, WeirdStuff! :)

    Solar powered devices have moved on a long way from the feeble calculators and watches of the seventies and eighties. Solar technology has advanced in leaps and bounds and there are all sorts of solar powered gadgets around at the moment, from solar lights to solar radios. solar charger

    I really love those solar power backpacks. great for hiking if you are in the middle of nowhere and you need to charge a phone or something, although your phone won't work in the middle of nowhere either.. lol

    Generators make an extreme quantity of noise and should be used when recharging batteries. However, you'll recharge your batteries the quiet and economical method by using RV solar panels and bypass all the noise.

    I love the solar stuff. Our backyard has a ton of glowing glories. All of our outdoor lighting is solar. I love it !

    I found and had to buy a really cool kit at the Science Museum in London, a Hydrogen Powered Car. It has a solar panel, although batteries can be used to start it up. The electrical power is used by a Fuel Cell to split water into O2 and H2, then the same cell later recombines them to produce power. It demonstrates that h2 under pressure can be used for fuel transport and storage, with solar power as the source.
