- We use a small heater similar to your Holmes for taking the chill off the bathroom before taking a shower. But for rooms where we need a little more heat for longer periods, we use an oil filled portable electric radiator with a thermostat control. It's cheaper to run for longer periods of time--but not as compact as your Holmes.

- I like to have air movement. I had an oil filled heater a long time ago, and found myself setting up a fan near it to get the heated air moving around the room.

- I bought 2 space heaters last week to heat our living area because last year our fuel bills were extremely high and our monthly budget is smaller this year. They were very affordable and work surprisingly well, even in our larger, open rooms. Highly recommend these for anyone who has extra drafty rooms and doesn't want to heat the whole house to keep warm. Thanks for sharing your reviews. Very helpful lens!!

- Nice recommendation for a portable space heater. We use a different brand in our Sun Room in the winter to keep my plants safe and it does allow us to use the room all year round.

- Great lens. I l-o-v-e my space heater. I use it in my bathroom and one in my office too. Who wants to over heat the house just to keep my feet warm?

- I use space heaters in my brick and mortar store because the building is very old and drafty. I have one, but need another. Thanks for the recommendation.

- This is the first ever lenses I've seen. I know I would enjoy these heaters down in this basement....although my mom is on me for the one I have and it running up the electric bill. Nicely done with reviews!
