- The money thing. There are too many people who thing :spirituality is a business. It is not. If you need to make a living you'd have a choice GET A JOB or start a business but THAT should not include peddling g-d or enlightenment, when you do that you are prostituting IT and yourself. There are plenty of ways of making money but that should exclude Spirituality.

- Your position, in the extreme, would mean that people can't devote their whole lives to spirituality unless they're heirs to great fortunes or something. In practice: people have to make a living. Obviously money should not be the motive for teaching, for writing books or any of that. However, to say that in this world money should only flow towards the non-spiritual is like denying that spirituality needs roots in this world.

- I love to belong to a spiritual group but all my efforts at finding a church have failed because of the dogmas. Now I simply acknowledge God everyday in my own very special way and I know he is ever beside me as my constant companion. (One church told me that until I am baptized in their church God would not and could not be my constant companion. To that I say crap. I feel his presence right beside me everyday).

- I definitely don't like the idea of anybody telling me what I have to believe.
I do like TheLovingGod's quote and I like your ever.com lens which I've blessed.
(Found your ever.com lens. The hardest part was finding the ever.com main page. Once I was there, finding yours was not hard.)

- Recognizing that spirituality is what it's all about actually set me free. Peace, love and tolerance are the building blocks of spirituality. I've never been happier or more at peace with the universe. This is a beautiful lens, Katrinka, and I'm going to take the time to view all the videos and visit all the links. I hope someday that I will have the pleasure of meeting you.

- I agree complelely with what Tiddledeewinks said. I've always sensed that spiritual truth is universal, not the property of any one religion. I've added Barry Long to your link list because he was the most no nonsense, undogmatic spiritual teacher I have ever encountered. II really enjoyed this lens

- Since 1991 I have done a spiritual practice called Dance of Universal Peace. We sing and dance and love through eye contact and holding hands! It promotes a world of PEACE when we honor each others beliefs. We don't have to believe what someone else does, but we can be accepting and allowing! The more rigid we are the more we struggle, we need to bend and move.

- Spirituality sets you free, while religion tends to bind you more.
