- I have never been a smoker but my eldest kids have. One stopped when he and his girlfriend decided to support each other through it and they made it fairly quickly. But the other stopped, then started again and keeps saying she will give up but never sees it through. Maybe I will pluck up courage to send her the link to this excellent page....

- Smoking affects not only the lungs but also other parts of the body. The more cigarettes you smoke, the more complications you will get. This is the time to make an action. There is no other way to save your life. It is time to stop smoking with the help of Brisbane Hypnotherapy. I really believe that smoking is not good for our health so I want to share this information to you. Hypnosis is a great technique to help get rid of your attitude in smoking. With gradual meditation and advices, you can surely find a way to stop smoking. Some people think hypnosis is not effective but with my experience, I encourage everyone to try it.

- Super useful well built lens. I just want to say that i managed to quit smoking using a electronic cigarette I hope this will help others. I was a heavy smoker (one or 2 packs/day for 8 years) and after 2 major surgeries i had to quit smoking somehow. This was the most helpful thing i've found.

- I smoked for 40 years, 1 1/2 packs a day, and never thought I had the guts to quit. When I had some serious medical problems come about, I quit, cold turkey, no gum, no patches and no drugs, just sheer willpower. This December will be 2 years! You can see my Quit Smoking lens on Squidoo LOL. Just goes to show you what sheer willpower can do. - Kathy

- I really wish my mom would quit smoking. I live in another city running a business that sells products like Isocort and other health supplements, but I've always thought that if I were closer to her I could possibly influence her (I am a very healthy, active person and she doesn't really have those type of associations around her).
I wish I knew how to approach the subject....My grandpa lives till his 80's and smoked every day - not exactly a positive reinforcement for the diminished quality and length of life from smoking.

- a passive smoker will get more negative effects than the smoker itself. So, I keep my distance if there are smokers in the public area. Usually I use a handkerchief or mask. However, It only prevents us from the light effect of smoke. I could be better if there more places for smokers. Another alternative is like your article, because this is very informative so many people will know about the bad effect from smoking and for passive smokers. I also manage to stop this habit last year, I need many support from stop smoking method, such as smoking hypnotism method, family, friends and the most important is myself.

- Great resource for people who want to quit smoking! I did notice one module with a default title! Might want to check that one out! If you used your subtitles in your modules you would get better traffic from search engines. Add good keywords to the sub titles. They get an h3 tag which helps in SEO. The titles get an h2 tag which is a step better!
Rated and blessed! Great job.

- It does show how powerful nicotine addiction is that you only smoked 2 a day for 1 year yet it controlled you. Congrats on stopping smoking and for this great lens to help others. I've never smoked but I'm going to pass this url on to my Dad! 5 stars and made a favorite. I also joined your fan club. Thanks, Mitch
