Kuta Beach

Kuta Beach is where you should head to first. It is a great spot suitable for beginner and professional surfers who want to try out surfing in Bali. The swells can be up to 1.5 meters the waves is clean, fast and consistent. However, it may be crowded with alot of surfers.

Padang Beach

Padang PadangYou can find fast long barreling wave at Padang Beach. This is also known as Padang Padang - The Balinese pipeline. The pipeline breaks over a shallow coral reef and is not recommended for beginner surfers.

There is also Padang Padang rights. This is suitable for beginning surfers to learn riding the whitewater. It is an easy wave amd breaks in front of a beautiful white sandy beach

    I surf but I have not reached Bali yet! I am looking forward to the day I go. Thank you for the info on Kuta and Padang, It will be very useful while Im out there.

    Nice! I've done some surfing in Kuta beach but haven't tried Padang yet. I'll make sure to do that next time I'm in Bali.

    Great! you should try that, but be careful of the coral reefs if you are planning to try the pipline
