Which is the Best? Miracle Blanket or the Woombie?
If you know anyone who is having a baby, you have been probably trying to come up with an idea for the best gift. I know because I actually have a niece and two nephews who are all expecting babies this fall. And I've been trying to come up with the perfect gift.
So I was thinking about when my babies were born I used to swaddle them with a little blanket. They seemed to sleep better and longer. When ever my newborn was fussy they would calm down as soon as I swaddled them. I think its because it reminds them of what it's like to be in the womb.
So I have decided that I want to get these new babies a Swaddling Blanket. Actually I am going to get two for each baby. This way when one is getting washed there is a spare.
Now comes the hard part, and I need your help....which is the best baby swaddle blanket? The popular Miracle Blanket or the Woombie.

The Miracle Blanket's great for newborns- but not so good once baby can escape. My little one was escaping a similar blanket by 10 weeks, but she still needed swaddling for sleep (severe colic). So, I would recommend the Woombie.

- Swaddling blankets are wonderful baby shower gifts, too. Every new mom should have a few of these! I'd like to try one on a new grandbaby. Hmmmmmmmmmmm
