Tablet Computers 2013 ... Tablet PC The Wave of the Future?

We are all aware of the huge amount of excitement and hype around the release of the Apple iPad Tablet Computers, and seems that this technology may be the wave of the future for many.

It seems obvious that almost all computer manufacturers have taken note of the impact that the original iPad release had on the computer buying public and released similar products albeit in a catch up mode.

I think the iPad is still the leader especially with the improvements in the iPad2 and of course the Apple iPad NEWEST MODEL. There are now however many competing tablets at lower price points which have most of the most desirable features in a compact computing device.

Most recently Amazon has introduced the Kindle Fire which offers a fantastic array of tablet features for under $200!

    Surprised so many are voting for the Samsung Galaxy. Maybe the Google Nexus 7 will do better than I thought.

    I voted for the Samsung Galaxy tab, but it is difficult to choose between the IPad 2 and Galaxy. I like your lens and the way you laid it out. It is very informative and makes it a lot easier to compare all the different Tablet options in one place. Nice work.     Others may catch up over time, but the iPad is tough to beat. I like it, as well as the Samsung Galaxy. I just wish I had a good word processor/spreadsheet software for the iPad. Microsoft plans on releasing products for iPad in 2012.

    the ipad is the best, because it has a A5-chip!!! the Grafics of Games are FANTASTIC!!
    The Ipad 2 is very thin, has a super design, and has a SUPER battery life!!!
    In the Appstore you now can download over 140'000 Apps!!! And all Apps are Perfect for the Ipad!!
    But I like also the Samsung Galaxy tab 10.1
    But the Ipad is much better!!!!

    I have both the iPad 2 and Kindle Fire. I actually use the Kindle Fire Tablet more because it is smaller and easier to carry.

    Been checking out tablets seems the Ipad is low end compared to others the same price.
    Check out the Acer W500 or A500
