The best things about breastfeeding

Why I loved breastfeeding my children.
There are lots of important scientific reasons why breastfeeding is wonderful for mothers and babies. But I'm writing this page to talk about my personal reasons for loving breastfeeding so much.
I started breastfeeding because I thought it was the smartest thing to do. I continued because it was a wonderful experience.

- At the risk of sounding like a bad mother, I will be the one to add that in addition to all the other great things...its a whole lot easier than making formula and cleaning bottles. Its also a money saver.
And it was a warm sweet time!

- I gave my daughter no solid food until she was at least 6 months old. I couldn't do anything but breast feed, because she would put nothing rubber in her mouth. She wouldn't use a pacifier, she wouldn't use a rubber nipple. I had to give her water with a shot glass because it was the only thing small enough to put to her lips. I guess once she got a taste of me, she was a gourmet and wouldn't settle for less!
And it was a great time.

- Hello! Great topic choice! I bottle fed my boys. It was the popular choice at the time. I think we know better now.
