This scooter kicks butt. It is kind of hard to get used to, but once you get the hang of it, you can go fast. You have to move your legs kind of like skiing. It works your legs, glutes and you get some cardio workout too. It's fun, but makes you sweat!

I got my 4 and 6 year old boys the 3 wheel razor and tried to demonstrate for them how to use. I of course fell, because it is not made for my 250# adult body... but I knew right away I had something fun. I went online to see what they made for big "kids". I found this scooter and have been on it everyday since I got it. I agree with others that it is well made and easy to assemble. I enjoy this product and already I'm less than 250# from this fun activity. I'm also 45 years old, don't be afraid to let this unscooter take you back to your youth.

wheels these days are cheap (pick 'em up at Target, WalMart, etc for dirt cheap) but they're built that way now, too. Fall apart quickly, and can't take anything compared to the green machine. You could go through 5 big wheels while this green machine would still be running strong, I bet. Do the math on that...

Didn't get the full 5 stars as this thing can't be run in tight places. You need serious space around to do turns and such. "Turning diameter" on this thing is measured in yards, while a big wheel can turn within just a few feet.

I got this "Green Machine" for Christmas for my grandson. He is 6-1/2 years old with a small build. He has had a blast with this bike. My daughter said as soon as he comes home from school he is on it and it has made a hit with the neighborhood kids. You should have seen his eyes when Santa arrived with this toy. For $99 this was a A+++.

My grandsons are 3 and 5 and they both have more trust in this scooter than any similar product we've tried. The only thing I have against it but it is the price. It seems very expensive for this type of item but again, the guys like and trust it more than anything else we've tried so I guess it is worth the money.

These scooters are a great step up from the basic Razor. My kids, ages 10 and 13, got these for Christmas and absolutely LOVE them. My son wanted the electric scooter, but I feel strongly about being active, so I chose the Powerwing.

He was not disappointed once he rode it. They spend hours on these things!
All of the parents want to try it too...it's fun! The "RipStick" action lets you move without pushing with your feet. Definitely a good product for the money. Great gift for those "tween" kids.

I purchased the Powerwing DLX for my 9-year old son. It was easy to assemble and works perfectly. My son learned how to ride the Powerwing within a couple of minutes and was spinning and coasting around the driveway in no time. The 143 pound weight limit means both his older brother and sister (but not Dad) can ride the Powerwing as well. Works as a great substitute for children too young to ride a RipStick. The safety pads on the rear of the scooter keep the rider from flipping over as they learn how to ride. The handle brake is a nice feature as well.

My son is four and can not live without his scooter!!! We even took it to London, Greece, and Bermuda. Everyday after school, we go scooter riding all over NY with his friends. It is the best fun in the world. I wish the company made a scooter for 5'10" me so I could keep up:)

This is the second scooter I bought for my kids. I love how durable is. I had in the past the Radio Flyer scooter, which was much slower, less durable and very hard to turn.

This, instead, is much easier to turn and narrower so my little ones can stand on one foot while pushing/propelling themselves with the other foot. It is a quality product and your kids will love it!
