This is definitely one of the best travel cribs on the market and ticks all the boxes mentioned above. It sets up extremely easily, in about 10 seconds with just one movement. This is great when you and your baby are tired after a long trip and you need to get the crib set up straight away.
Its very compact and will easily fit in the trunk of the car. For airplane travel it will fit in a large suitcase or you can carry it like a bag.
It's lightweight (weighing less than 11 pounds). So its easy for anybody to transport from the car or through an airport.
The matress is very comfortable and there is a waterproof cover which protects against leaky diapers. The fabric is easy to clean too.

Through reader recommendation I have also added the Phil and Ted travel crib.
It's super light weight at just 7 pounds (without the mattress). This is lighter than the Bjorn travel crib. It's very compact and can fit in the hold of an airplane if needed.
It is easy to put up although the video reviews show it takes considerably longer to put up than the Bjorn travel crib.
It's suitable from newborn to 3 years old.
Go Crib
It's fairly easy to set up and go down. You actually pump it up like you would a bicycle. It has an inflatable mattress which fits in the bag.
Really compact, fits into one backpack, leaving your hands free to carry other items or push a stroller!
Extremely sturdy, a toddler can't tip it over.
