Best Travel Pillow For Airplanes
Ranked #112 in Travel & Places, #5,310 overall
Best Airplane Pillow Requirements
For example the airplane neck pillow should be easy to carry and store in a bag, which means it should be portable. Also it should be quite easy to pack before the flight and when deflated, it should be easily folded to a relatively small size.
It should be relatively long and thin. This allows the pillow to be worn across the body, so that when you lean your head on your shoulders, it gets adequate support.
Finally the head support should be a the natural angle, that doesn't tire the head and neck over time. It should be comfortable, not giving you back pain.
Having these criteria in mind, here are the best travel pillows for airplane that I found in my research.
Shown here is TravelRest, the best pillow I've found that works for sleeping on a plane.

TravelRest - The Best Airplane Neck Pillow

In all my research on the best airplane pillow I found that TravelRest is the best. It is recommended by many regular travelers as being simply the best. Personally I don't have one, but my mom does, and I've tried it.
It's extremely comfortable, it fits nicely over the head right down to the shoulders, and it cuddles you just like sweet teddybear (perfect for kids).
Here are some of the benefits of using TravelRest:
* Offers optimal head and neck support
* It is an inflatable pillow, so you can adjust how hard or soft it should be around your neck
* When you deflate it, it rolls up nicely in a smaller piece and can fit nicely in any normal size carry bag
* Perfect for anyone regardless of their size: great for parents and kids alike
* Long enough to be worn across the body like a sash.
* The top is rounded so it's comfortable on the neck.
* The neck support is at a natural angle that doesn't tire the neck, shoulder or head
* It has a removable velvet (faux-velvet) cover that can be taken off and washed (my mom has one in green).

Remember
Don't inflate your travel pillow to the max.
When the plane reaches altitude the pillow expands even more, so you need to give it the place to fully expand.

- I have to agree with yano_jl - travel pillow is great especially if your're on a long flight or you have to wait on the terminal for your next flight.
I used to laugh to people who used them, becouse they looked a bit silly. But then I realized that it was me, who looked silly when my head was bumping and nodging from left to right, sometimes even on my neighbours shoulder when I felt asleep :))) Imagine this :))
Now I don't go anywhere without my travel neck pillow and if I may advice: don't spare on money - buy quality travel pillow so your body gets appropriate rest!
