Thicker and Lighter than a Smartphone
Olympus TG-310 is thicker and lighter than most smartphones, it's also fits in every trouser pocket without too much bulk. Additionally, that Olympus makes it in bright and various colors - so it makes Olympus TG-310 even more suitable when it need to drop while snorkeling on the ocean floor (if that is not too far away).
When zooming, the lens remains in the case. The one hand facilitates the sealing of the camera. On the other hand, it has the great advantage of the films that do not sound objective to land on the soundtrack. Unfortunately the zoom is disabled during video shoot.

As a point-and-shoots camera, Olympus TG-310 met all essential requirements without contributing remarkably to the luggage. Too bad that the zoom is locked during video recording. The rubber buttons are still easy to operate, even if they feel cheap.

- great tips. I love my iPhone for on the go shots but if I want a really nice picture, I go with my olympus camera or my flip video camera. I even wrote a lens about it! I'll lensroll this to mine.
