Tuna Steak Grilling Tips
The most important tips is finding fresh tuna.
Use a clean grill that is well oiled to avoid sticking.
Make sure your grill is hot enough. You should not be able to hold your hand over the coals for more than 4 seconds at a 5 inch height.
Cooking time should be approximately 5 minutes a side for a 1 inch thick piece.
Keep fish from drying out by basting.

Flavorful Tuna Steaks

- Serves: 2
- Prep Time: 10
- Total Time: 20
Ingredients
- 2 - 6oz Albacore or Yellowfin Tuna Steaks
- 1/2 tsp thyme
- 1/2 tsp rosemary
- 1/2 tsp majoram
- 1/2 tsp oregeno
- 2 oz. balsamic vinegar
- sea salt
- ground pepper
Instructions
1.) Heat up the grill to medium hot temperature.
2.) Mix the above herbs to the balsamic vinegar.
3.) Pour the mix into a baking dish and add the fish and marinate for at least 30 minutes turning at least once.
4.) Set the fish on an oiled grill and cook 5 minutes per side basting liberally during the cooking.
