The Vampire Diaries
The Vampire Diaries is an American supernatural drama television series that takes place in Mystic Falls, Virginia, a fictional small town haunted by supernatural beings. The series follows the love triangle between the female lead Elena Gilbert and the vampire brothers Stefan and Damon Salvatorre. Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder respectively.
The series is based on a book series by the same name. Since it's premiere on September 10, 2009, it has attracted millions of viewers and has been nominated for many awards. The show is highly popular with women and girls of all ages.

True Blood
True Blood is a TV series on HBO based on the novels "The Southern Vampire Mysteries." The series is set in the fictional town of Bon Temps, Louisiana and revolves around the adventures of Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin), a telepathic waitress.Sookie has two love interests on the show, charming and dangerous vampires Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) and Eric Northman (Alexander SkarsgÄrd.)

Twilight is probably one of THE most recognized vampire movies of all time. Twilight is a 4 part love story between a a human girl, Bella Swan and a smoldering hot vampire Edward Cullen. The movies are based on the Twilight Saga books by Stephanie Meyer.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Buffy the Vampire Slayer is an American television series that was aired for six years from March 1997, until May 2003. The series follows Buffy Summers (Sarah Michelle Gellar), the latest in a line of young women known as "Vampire Slayers." In the story, Slayers battle against vampires, demons, and other forces of darkness.

Vampires have been the lead characters in many movies throughout history. Movies like Interview With a Vampire, Fright Night, Van Helsing, 30 Days of Night, Dusk till Dawn, The Lost Boys and many more have seen huge lines of vampire fans marching to movie theaters money in hand, craving some immortal excitement.
Vampires in movies are often depicted in many different froms, from stark white creatures with visible fangs who can't come out during the day, to horrible blue/gray monsters, to smoldering teenagers with sparkly skin who have no problem coming out in the daytime as long as the sun doesn't hit them. Take a look at the many pictures and see for yourself the many changes vampire characters undergo depending on what creative mind brought them to life (or in their case, death.)
