When we renovated the powder room in our old (1939) home, one of the unique challenges we faced was finding a small vanity which would not obstruct the bathroom door. Since the plumbing for the sink was directly across from the door, we only had about 18" of clearance from the wall to where the door would swing when entering or exiting the bathroom.

The Fairmont Tuxedo vanity is the one we chose for our powder room renovation. With only 18" to maneuver between the bathroom door and wall - this vanity fit perfectly at 17" depth. Take a look at the pictures of my own Fairmont Designs 20" Lifestyle Collection Tuxedo Vanity with mirror in my small bathroom. It worked out perfectly. Prior to getting this sink we had a wall mount porcelain sink that was original to the house. I really did not think there was a vanity with storage underneath that would fit in the space.
