The Explore, Fight, Solve, and Seek Genre

In my experience, the adventure genre has been the most difficult of all to define. It's easy enough to find games that require the combination of fast thinking, planning, and eye for action skills that make this genre one of the funnest around. But it's not as easy to argue that the games on the list below don't equally deserve to be mentioned in a different genre category.

The puzzle genre opens up gaming to a whole segment of the population who might otherwise be ignored.
