Rapala Pro Bass Fishing with Rod

2010

Great tournament fishing game with lots of options. Critical note: The Rapala Rod & Reel fishing rod is mentioned by some to be of lesser quality. On the other hand; with its full motion controls, players will be able to cast, reel, jig, set the hook and more as if you have an actual fishing rod in your hands.

Rapala Pro Bass Fishing pits players against real-life fishing pros on top freshwater lakes across North America - only the finest techniques and equipment will determine who is the best of the best. For the first time ever in a fishing game, the competition is set up in a professional tournament structure and the action is presented as a live TV event with announcers (including Barry Brueland, the voice of InFisherman TV), live updates, competitive leader boards, analysis, and heart-pounding final weigh-ins.

But you had better hurry. Not only will you have to land the biggest and best fish out there, but you'll also have to speed back to the finish line before time runs out to claim victory.

There you can get expert tips and advice from the Fishing Master, raise and care for your most prized catches in the aquariums, check out the prizes and equipment that you've earned, and learn about the tough and wily Legendary Fish that you might one day catch.

Never realised fishing online could be so much fun.
  • Beas Feb 15, 2012 @ 2:44 am | delete
It seemed a bit dull to me too the first time I did it but it certainly is a whole lot of fun!
  • EdwardJames81 Jan 26, 2012 @ 8:49 am | delete
I was first introduced to Sega Bass Fishing back on the Sega Dreamcast in 1999, and I was (excuse the pun) hooked immediately so imagine my delight when I found it for my Wii.

Computer based fishing is no substitute for the real thing, but it is nice to toss a lure and reamin warm, cosy and comfortable when it is minus ten outside!

Games will never be like the real deal but it helps you gain some bass fishing tips you can-sometimes use in real life.
