Call of Duty: Black Ops
ESRB Rating M for Mature

Even if you've never played a Call of Duty game before, do not miss out on Call of Duty: Black Ops. Black Ops takes place during the Cold War era and it is up to you to stealthily engage the baddies behind enemy lines in the Soviet territories and Southeast Asia. But the real fun lies in multi-player--you can play at home or online multi-player against your friends or people throughout the globe. Play single player to rack up experience before taking on the gaming world online because you don't want to be that guy that dies every two seconds.

Resident Evil 4
Rated M

The first Resident Evil game I ever played was Resident Evil 2 on Playstation, and I've been in love with the series ever since. I've never had a video game make me jump before like the Resident Evil games after some creature or zombie pops out of nowhere to eat my eyeballs. Resident Evil 4 stars Leon Kennedy as a Secret Service agent sent on a mission to rescue the President's daughter. Time to start blasting some zombies into red globs.

Resident Evil 4
Amazon Price: $7.71 (as of 02/22/2012)![]()
Resident Evil 4 is generally hailed as one of the best action games ever made--for a reason. Once you pick it up and start playing, you won't want to stop. And its release on the Wii is undoubtedly the best version yet.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
ESRB Rated T for Teens

It is a scientific fact that any Legend of Zelda game will be awesome and hook you on the series the rest of your gaming life. Well maybe it hasn't been proven, but it should be researched. This Zelda game has the best and most realistic graphics to date and using the Wii remote and nunchuck to use weapons makes you feel the part of the character Link. Or you can buy the Wii Link Crossbow pictured below. This is the perfect game for old Zelda fans and newcomers to the series.

Sin and Punishment: Star Successor
Rated T

Adrenaline-packed shooter game sequel to the immensely popular Nintendo 64 game. For those that enjoy Arcade games, this side-scrolling shooter Sin and Punishment: Star Successor will not let you down. Choose either Isu (male) or Kachi (female) and battle swarms of enemies as your character barrels along in this fast-paced rail shooter game.

James Bond 007: Goldeneye
Rated T

The Wii version isn't as groundbreaking as the Nintendo 64 original, but it will become a classic one day. Winner of Best Shooter and Best Sound/Voice Acting in the 2010 Nintendo Power Awards issue, this game will have you and your friends playing multi-player for hours to earn bragging rights. As with Call of Duty: Black Ops, the single player missions in Goldeneye are awesome but the real fun is multi-player where you have a license to kill and you better do it quickly before your buddy snipes you in the back. You can also play online up to eight players and play against other gamers at your skill level. There are over 40 characters to choose from, including classics like Jaws and Oddjob.

Monster Hunter Tri
Rated T

One of Capcom's best RPG games, Monster Hunter Tri will have you tracking and slaying monsters to help save the local villagers. Fight beasts on land and underwater with an all-new 10 weapons categories. Play online and hunt in groups of up to four people. You can even save your stellar character's information on your Wii remote to use at a friends house and play, and show off your awesome skills.

No More Heroes 2
Rated M

If you love comedy and blood No More Heroes 2 is the perfect fit for you. The storyline will have you laughing before you start slicing and dicing with your beam laser katana.as assassin Travis Touchdown. Excellent fighter game and follow up to the first No More Heroes.

Metroid: Other M

The best female hero in video games, Samus Aran, is back for another sci-fi adventure game on Nintendo Wii. Metroid: Other M is a single player shooter that delves into Samus' past. Rich storyline and superb Wii graphics, this is a great addition to the Metroid saga.

Star Wars: Force Unleashed II

Star Wars: Force Unleashed II surpassed the highly successful first game in both gameplay and storyline. This is a must-have for all Star Wars fans. Note to game developers: All you need to do to make a great game is add a lightsaber. Note to gamers: Play with the lightsaber remote, it is more responsive and it is just plain cool. In Star Wars: Force Unleashed II you are Starkiller, Darth Vader's secret apprentice, and now fugitive as he searches for his lost love, Juno Eclipse while evading Vader and his stormtroopers. The game takes place during the time between Episode III and IV, before Admiral Ackbar discovered "It's a trap!" as well before Luke Skywalker whined about R2 units having bad motivators. This game will undoubtedly entertain Star Wars fans and casual gamers. May the Force be With you...you rebel scum!
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers

The Final Fantasy series has entertained millions of gamers since its beginnings on the Nintendo Entertainment System. Don't feel like you can't play Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles because you haven't played the earlier titles. The first FF game I played was X on Playstation 2 and I was blown away by story presentation, characters, graphics, and epic battles with over-the-top enemy bosses. This is the first Final Fantasy game for the Wii so pick it up now to see what the video gaming world has been crazy about for over 20 years.

Tatsunoko vs Capcom

A fun arcade-style fighting game featuring your favorite characters from Capcom's strong 30-year history and anime powerhouse Tatsunoko Production. If you love Street Fighter-type video games, you'll really enjoy Tatsunoko vs Capcom with its awesome combos and finishers. This game is best played on the Capcom Arcade Fightstick. Check it out. Tatsunoko vs Capcom was the winner of the 2010 Nintendo Power Award for Best Action Game.

MadWorld

For some crazy reason, MadWorld hasn't gotten the love it deserves as a top Wii action game. Exclusively for the Wii, MadWorld is presented as a black and white graphic novel, while you play as a mysterious Jack, a participant in a terrorist group's fight to the death amusement game called "Death Watch." This is one of the most visually appealing games I've ever played on the Wii--almost hypnotic with the black and white.

Red Steel 2

Gunslinger Samurai. Need I say more? Use your Wii remote as a sword and strike down your enemies and deflect enemies bullets. All action fans will love Red Steel 2's wicked gameplay.

House of the Dead: Overkill

Warning: It is difficult to get the disturbing visuals of this game out of your head, or rather should I say you can't forget them because this game is so much fun to play. Waves upon waves of gory zombies are coming down upon you as you blast your way to safety to uncover the secrets about the House of the Dead. No Gore, No Glory!

Castlevania Judgement

The first ever Castlevania fighting game features a collection of 14 characters from Castlevania's storied past. Controls are a bit stiff but presentation is gorgeous. All Castlevania fans should check this game out.
