Best Wii Games for Preschoolers

Players can develop their own Zoos. Gameplay is intricate and interesting enough for adults and older kids, but it was also easy enough for my 2 1/2 year old, simply by ignoring the zoo development goals. My four-year-old and eight-year-old love it, too. The play scales perfectly for their abilities.

Players are given a choice of animal to begin their zoo with, so kids can choose their favorites and immediately begin playing with them. The monkeys and big cats are popular choices here. The game even saves automatically, so they don't have to try to figure that out.

Whatever the animal wants appears in a thought-bubble over their head. Clicking the thought-bubble makes that item drop down in front of the animal. So even the youngest players can have fun interacting with the animals and caring for them.

Your child gets to create her own princess and play the part, interacting with favorite Disney Princesses to help them restore their kingdoms. While the storyline is a simple role playing adventure, there is no killing. I've had three to seven year olds playing this game and it fit their skill levels well.

Targeted for the younger preschoolers, Super Game Day is easy enough for toddlers. This is my three-year-old's favorite game, and has been since we picked it up, when he was two.
