Having moved to Guelph 5 years ago I found myself lost. Born in Toronto I had become accustomed to a vast selection available when it came to my consumer choices. Once in Guelph, I found it hard to start over. Finding reputable businesses wasn't easy. I listened to a lot of bad advice and was shocked by some of the recommendations. I jumped from business to business until I was satisfied with the overall experience. I found that the people who lived in Guelph their entire life weren't open to exploring the options. Many people whom I had spoken to had frequented the same businesses for years and were easily satisfied with less than satisfactory customer service, lack of stock, variety and quality products. My belief is that small cities become habituated to what they know and do not tend to try new places regardless of disappointments.

It's surprising to find so many choices. Businesses are tucked away all over Guelph. Some good some bad but for the most part you'll never know unless you try something new. Most of the sales people at Wellington Motors have been there for several years. They are dedicated to helping customers and willing to go the extra mile. Most of the used cars I have viewed and purchased were perfectly detailed and serviced. Great selection, fair pricing and no high pressure sales.

When it comes to dining out and where I eat I must say I am as picky as a food critic! The food must be presented well, fresh and hot. The portions must be generous, excellent service, friendly waiting staff, clean environment and a good atmosphere. I never make a judgment about a good restaurant until I have eaten there several times just to make sure they maintain a level of excellence.

Excellent choice for Thai/Vietnamese fusion cooking and vegetarian diners. All food is made in house so it is fresh. The owner and Chef Oun Seng-Low is a pleasant man who can cook up a storm.

A clean, bright atmosphere that has an uplifting ambiance. Staff are friendly, personable and service oriented.

Not one complaint here. The food is a good value for the money and you are guaranteed to keep going back.
