Best Chili Cheese Dip Recipe Ever

My mouth is watering just thinking about it!

This chili cheese dip recipe is made with a combination of chili and the right kind of cheese, and it is sooooooo good. Make it once, and your friends will always ask you to make it!

Believe it or not, I am not a big chili lover. I tried this chili dip the first time at a Christmas party about 10 years ago. The first bite I (along with the rest of my family) was hooked.

We did not even get a chance to put it in bowls before it was gone, and another batch was started :). That chili cheese dip almost ruined Christmas dinner.


Chili Ingredients

The great thing about this dip is that it is very easy to make, there are only 3 ingredients.
  • TWO cans of Hormel Chili (You can choose between beans or no beans) I like it with beans.

  • ONE 8 oz. block of pepperjack cheese (I prefer Kraft Natural Cheese but any brand will do)

  • ONE bag of Frito's Scoops

  • Cook the two cans of Chili over medium heat

  • While the Chili is warming up, begin cutting the block of cheese into cubes (this will make it easier for the cheese to melt

  • Put the cheese in and keep on medium heat. Stir occasionally until the cheese has melted.

  • Now dig in! And save some for your friends and family :)...

  • When it is cold outside - The colder the better. Nothing is better than a warm bowl of chili in front of the fire.

  • Christmas Parties - As I mentioned earlier, that is how I got introduced to it, and I would not have it any other way.

  • Football Weekends - If you make it for a group, expect to double up on whatever you think they will eat. Because rest assured, you can never have enough :)
