6 Great Folding Knives On the Market Today

Being able to handle a majority of the production knives that come through our shop gives us an opportunity to know the knives pretty well (not to mention is a lot of fun.) We have chosen six different knives that in our opinion, stand above the rest. We chose these knives based on 5 different categories. Best overall folding knife, best every day carry (EDC), best value blade, best small size knife, best looking and toughest. While there are many other knives that would be in contention, each one of these knives is a great folding knife.

Chris Reeve Sebenza

Best Overall Manual Knife

Chris Reeve Sebenza Folding KnifeChris Reeve folding knives are at the top tier of the knife industry. At the 2010 Blade awards the Chris Reeve Ti-Lock took the prize for Overall Knife of the Year. The Ti-Lock is a great knife, but our favorite Chris Reeve knife is the Sebenza.

Every detail on the Sebenza has been thought out with keen attention to detail, ensuring the fine craftsmanship, durability and design Chris Reeve knives are known for. The Sebenza boasts a sleek, comfortable feel due to the 6Al4V Titanium handle. As one of the smoothest opening knives on the market it is a joy to use. The blade is made of S30V Stainless Steel offering a razor sharp edge balanced with phenomenal edge retention. The frame lock on the knife is a simple but solid design, giving confidence during heavy use. The Sebenza does not disappoint, a true example of form following function.
