How do you know which antioxidant super food that is the best?

The answer is simple:

Check its ORAC score.

ORAC is short for Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity.
It is a standardized measurement of the total antioxidant power of a substance.

Compare antioxidant products

Here is a comparison of some of the most popular antioxidant products and the new BerryRadical.

The results are stunning! Look at them!

ORAC score per serving

  • Berry Radical (5g sachet) 7240

  • YL Berry Young juice (30ml) 1130

  • Xango Mangosteen juice (30ml) 530

  • Himalayan Goji juice (30ml) 380

  • Tahitian Noni juice (30ml) 165

Berry Radical has an ORAC score of 7240 per serving.

Next in line is is YL Berry Young with 1130. And then it goes down to the bottom of the list where you find Tahitian Noni Juice at 165.

The graph shows the ORAC score of one serving of the product. The red line is displays the recommended daily intake of antioxidants which is 50000.

How about the price?

When I first saw these results I couldn't help thinking "BerryRadical must be really expensive".

I decided it was time of another comparison..

I searched the web to check out what how much the different products cost.
I used prices for US customers without shipping, taxes and special discounts.

And this is what I found:

If you are aiming for the recommended daily intake of 5000 ORAC units this is how much one day of antioxidants would cost you.

Price for a daily dose

  • Berry Radical 2 US$

  • Tahitian Noni juice 6 US$

  • YL Berry Young juice 7 US$

  • Himalayan Goji juice 14 US$

  • Xango Mangosteen juice 15 US$

Who would want to pay 15 US dollars for something you can get for 2?

What is the secret with BerryRadical?

How come BerryRadical shows such amazing results?

The secret lies in the variety and quality of the ingredients.

BerryRadical is a powerful combination of 10 of the worlds most potent, antioxidant, super foods.

All the ingredients are Certified Organic. They are freeze-dried, raw, living fruits, berries and cacao. The product is preservative-free.

How much antioxidants do I need?

The ORAC score shows the ability to neutralize oxygen free radicals. The more free radicals a substance can absorb, the higher it's ORAC score.

Nutritionists recommend that we consume around 5000 ORAC units per day to significantly impact antioxidant activity in the body and reduce free radical damage.

One serving (half a cup) of fruits or vegetables provides around 500 ORAC units.

Which means that you need at least 10 servings of fruits and vegetables a day.

If you're not reaching 10 servings of fruits and vegetables a day your body can NOT compensate for the damage caused by free radicals every day.

You know how much fruits and vegetables you eat each day.

The question is: Is one serving of Tahitian Noni juice with an ORAC score of 165 going to get you up to the 5000 a day?
I need more antioxidants!

Unless you're very good with your nutrition, you pretty much have to supplement to get everything that's recommended. I've had mangosteen and acai berry and like both.

Your "Best Antioxidants" article caught my att'n 'cause I have researched antioxidant therapy over the last 5 years. Many people are not aware that there's a non-invasive way to measure the amount of antioxidants in your body. It's called "Bio-photonic Scanner"; it gives you a reading in less than 5 minutes and is far more accurate than ORAC. This is very exciting 'cause the solution to total wellness is having the right amount and quality of antioxidants in your body. You can download a free report at www.HealthWealthExplosion.com, which includes a 'white paper' by Dr. Lester :Packer, known as the "Father of Antioxidant Theory".

I like the way that you broke down various product costs in order to get 5000 ORAC units. It definitely puts prices into perspective. Very good information and I enjoyed reading about antioxidants.
