The Best Autoresponders For Importing Leads & Closed Loop Autoresponders
Ranked #1,656 in Business, #54,212 overall
Two Main Types of Autoresponders - What Is Best For You?
You simply cannot subscribe a system like Aweber, GetResponse, or Constant Contact and import 10,000 leads. Those autoresonders are not meant for that. They server a different purpose... which we'll get to shortly.
There are several autoresponders available to you, but not all of them are compatible with many network mareketer's needs. There are 2 primary categories of autorespnders:
1) Autoresponders that allow you to import leads - This is what you need if you purchase email leads to either send to your own lead capture page or to your company's business opportunity site.
2) "Closed loop" autoresponders - A closed loop system basically requires you to generate your own leads through a lead capture page. A great idea if you are using a 2-step approach for email marketing.
Many people are looking for an MLM autoresponder, or an autoresponder to promote their affiliate program with. Below the poll we have set up are several autoresponders we recommend. These are autoresponders that several of our customers and colleagues are using with great success.

The Autoresonder Two-Step
A very popular approach is a 2-step autoresponder system - AR #1 is used as a "bulk email autoresponder" to send bulk email leads to your own lead capture page. The lead capture page uses AR #2, a closed loop autorepsonder. You are basically building your own list, and in essence, generating your own leads. Building your own list is crucial. This is your list and yours alone to pitch your business to.
Think of it as a funnel. You are basically working your leads through to a funnel where you can approach a very targeted group of people with your business opportunity.
Step #1 - Use a large capacity bulk autoresponder to send prospects to your own landing page. Don't use anyone else's landing page but your own because you need to be using your second autoresponder on your landing page.
Step #2 - Capture your prospect's information through your landing page using a Closed Loop Autoresponder.
To break it down, here are the steps:
1) Set up a bulk autoresponder. You can see a list of them at this a> page. I recommend setting up a series of 7 - 10 Generic messages that are NOT about your specific company. Rather they need to generic Work From Home type emails.
2) Buy as many leads as you can to fill your autoresponder. You don't need expensive leads. If you're paying more than 1 cent per lead, you're paying too much.
3) Get them to your OWN landing page. You can have this built for you. There are services out there that do this, and may cost you about $100. But, it's yours. You may want to consider giving away a free 10-page ebook on Home Businesses or something to get the person to sign up.
4) Use a closed loop AR to get the VERY highest deliverability rate. The closed loop I use gets a deliverability of 98%+. You will want to load 7 - 21 emails into your closed loop that are specific to your home business.
Here's one more thought. After several months you are going to have hundreds of people on your list, building toward thousands. If you ever change your business, you already have your OWN list in which to launch your new business.

- I think iContact is really good. In general I like it when the autoresponder is web-based so you don't have to install anything or make upgrades.
