Maxpedition Monsoon GearSlinger
Ballistic nylon was first made in 1942 with the hope to give troops protection from shrapnel and flying debris. The nylon did not work as was hoped. Ballistic nylon was a strong material and other uses were found. It was an ideal choice for luggage,as it was strong and could be more easily cleaned.

"I've touched on Maxpedition before, but their stuff is so good it's hard to leave it be. These little pouches are so useful I can hardly live without 'era. Called "Rollypolys" they come in a couple of sizes and stay all rolled-up on your waist, until you need to stuff things into them. Then it's presto-chango, and you can hide expended mags, full mags, cartridges or even your lunch." - Roy Huntington, Editor, American Handgunner, Jan-Feb 2005
