The Cuban Cigar Knocks Out Its Opponent Again
In the world of cigars, nothing rivals the Cuban. These cigars will always have the stronger jab, faster hook and fiercest uppercut (yeah, we like boxing as much as we like Cuban cigars). The best Cuban stogies are handmade, smooth and pack more flavors than any other competitors. Many people are not familiar with which cigars have the highest Cigar Aficionado ratings, so we have put this page together of our favorites and hope that you find the best Cuban for you.
#1 - Montecristo Double Corona Cuban Cigars
The king of Cuban cigars.
Where to buy it: www.tinderbox.comWe have found some awesome and really unique Cuban cigars, but for the #1 spot we have to stay true to the king of Cuban cigars- Montecristo. This is the most notorious brand to come out of Cuba and is the standard by which all other Cubans are judged. If you have never tasted one of these handmade beauties, you will instantly be hooked by it's peppery finish and aromatic flavors. Because it's a medium-bodied cigar, Montecristo's appeal to beginners and connoisseurs so order one of their Doble Coronas and enjoy the best smoke of your life.
All of the true smokers have a Montecristo in their cigar collection.
#2 - Cohiba Churchill Cuban Cigars
If you're holding a Cuban Churchill, you will never be disappointed.
Where to buy it: www.tinderbox.comIt's not easy to narrow down the Cohiba cigars to one, but we do believe that everyone should start with their Churchill. It's really cool to see a brand come out of nowhere and gain respect so quickly, which is exactly what Cohiba did in the 1970's and 80's. If you are looking for a true medium-bodied Cuban cigar, you don't have to look any further than the Cohiba Churchill.

#3 - Padilla Signature 1932 Torpedo
One of the first Cuban names to become a classic.
Where to buy it: www.tinderbox.comWe smelled the sweet taste of the Padilla before we even lit it. This Cuban cigar holds back the full flavors at the beginning, but then it hits you with the taste of vanilla, cedar and espresso. The construction of this torpedo is very sturdy and every cigar in the case was the same color and size. For the grand finale, the flavors moved into a light leather and floral combination that rocked our world. We highly recommend the Padilla 1932 torpedo and put it on our favorites list.
Share a Padilla with your smoking circle.
#4- Padron Magnum Maduros Cigars
Definitely one of the best Cuban cigars ever.
Where to buy it: www.tinderbox.comThe Padron Magnum had to be included in our top 5 because of it's unique taste and size! Yeah, yeah, some guys do feel more manly smoking a big stogie. This is the spiciest out of all of our faves and it really tastes like gingerbread with a little black pepper sprinkled on top. This Cuban is officially a star cigar, which means that it is very aesthetically pleasing and complex. The Cigar Aficionado rating reels it in at a 95, so it's obvious that there are a lot of fans.

#5 - Bolivar Coronas Cuban Cigar
Some cigars never go out of style.
Where to buy it: www.tobaccoworld.comThe Bolivar Coronas is one of those stogies that shows off the balance that we look for in a Cuban. As one of the best cigars, it is jam-packed full of flavors such as smoky wood, leather and chocolate. The construction is consistent and the coating is very smooth, especially if you allow it to age. This is a large smoke, so enjoy it on a nice summer night with friends and family.

- Cuban cigars are nice. They are the best when it comes to smoking. They have a lot of flavor. My favorite is the Bolivar Coronas.
