- This is a great lens of dog names, I have two dogs Blackie and Sam they are very sweet and very different personalities that is why they got their names. Anyways there is alot of really great names on here for dogs. I might have to use one of them one day in the future when I get a different dog. That is after mine are gone. But that won't be for a long time they are still very young energetic animals. Well thanks for the lens.

If we had another dog ever again then it would depend on its personality for what name it would have!

- I really liked this original lense... some nice names for dogs, indeed! Well I have a dog myself and I love her to bits, I named her accordingly to her face and aspects, she is blue eyed and gorgeous. I think you need to really see the dogs face before you name them, something that matches their personality, thats why I dont think you HAVE to name the dog first thing. Pay attention to them before you do, its the best thing! Cheers, Andy!

- That's a nice list of dog names. I wish I came across this lens a little sooner. I just got my guide dog puppy in training and the dogs name has to start with a specific letter in the alphabet. Our litter was the "D" litter so I named my dog Derby.
If you want to take a look I wrote this short article on How To Name A Guide Dog and also talk about coming up with a name for my dog, Derby.
