I'm a teacher, and I KNOW how we all search for free items.  We want the best for our kids, and we need to gather materials on a shoestring. Families and school districts always have a very limited budget, and finding freebies can really help stretch those dollars.  Whether you are a classroom teacher, a homeschooler, or a parent who needs to help one of your favorite kids, you'll want to check out these things I've found on the internet.

Motivational Writing Activity 

Get your kids doing some meaningful and fun writing

Everyone loves freebies, and kids are no exception. When you visit the bookstore next time, check the children's section for books of free things that kids can send away for. These collections are published annually, and contain info about companies that give away promotional or educational items that are free or very minimal cost, including stickers, videos, and small toys. Have your child choose one and send a good business letter to the company to request the freebie. Not only will your student get the practice of writing a good letter, he or she will also be rewarded with a fun freebie. Give it a try!

Generate some great worksheets (an infinite number) to help kids practice elementary math-addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and so forth. A must-see for those working with children who need extra practice.
