    I grew up with foster parents. I view THEM as my Mom and Dad. But I have a fleshly family too where a tree could be of interest. Thanks for an informative lens.

    I discovered the free Legacy software back in 2001 (version 3 it was at that time), downloaded it and am still using it today. Am currently using version 7. Its the best software IMO.

    Debbie and I both use Legacy Family Tree, and find that it has so many features, and is very flexible. Best of all you can store just about any information you want in it.

    Family tree software can definitely be helpful as you soon amass files full of dates and other facts about ancestors and possible connections!
