The best healthy diet is essential to live a healthy, long lasting and enjoyable life, and no I'm not talking about salads everyday!
Did you know it's better for you to eat 5 to 8 smaller portions a day than to starve between 3 meals a day? No I'm not saying 5 super sized meals. Just the right amount of food to feel full between those 5 to 8 meals.

The Five Major Food Groups
To achieve the best healthy diet you need to consume the proper amount of each of the five food groups which are:-- Fruits
-- Vegetables
-- Lean meat, fish, Poultry, Eggs , Nuts, and beans
-- Whole grains including bread ( not white bread I'll explain below,) cereals, rice ( not white rice, again below), pasta
-- Milk, yogurt, and cheese
And drink at least eight glasses of water per day.
These are nutritious, light and filling with minimal calories.

Yes! There are certain arguments over whether carbs are good or bad for you. Truth is they are both. Let me explain, carbohydrate's are sugars that provide fuel for energy. Your body needs carbs and proteins to operate properly.
An example of carbs to stay away from would be:

-- white bread
-- white rice
-- refined sugar
-- processed foods such as fast food and microwavable food
-- and soda
Why are these carbs bad?
These types of carbs digest extremely fast and cause a spike in your blood sugar, which in turn lead to weight gain, obesity, and other health concerns like diabetes and heart disease. Because these types of carbs digest so fast the energy used to burn calories doesn't last so the remaining calories are stored as fat.
Good carb foods by definition, are foods that are similar to or are still in thier natural state.

Protein and Fiber are another vital part of your best healthy diet. Protein provides growing structure's like ligaments, finger nails and hair. Protein also helps in digestion, aids in muscle for movement, and also plays a role in our vision.Protein is made up of amino acids and forms the material of our bodily tissues. Our bodies are only able to produce 14 of the 20 amino acids we need. The other vital amino acids only come from the foods we eat.
Fiber
From the beginning of digestion fiber has a major role.
Fiber makes food more satisfying. The reason for this is that it helps to contribute to a feeling of being full, thus can help prevent over eating and obesity.
Fiber slows digestion and absorption of sugars into the blood stream slower and keeps blood sugar on a more even level. (look above again if you don't understand blood sugar)

Tried and True
Are you overwhelmed yet? I was and didn't know where to start. I found a program about six months ago and it has worked for me! I've been losing between 5 to 10 pounds a month (ok not that much cause I don't totally follow the program since I started and I've read this is a healthy time frame for losing that much weight per month.
I have not given up, yes I've cheated here and there but I have a goal! I just wish I found this diet sooner. This has been the best healthy diet I've ever found that works for me even when I cheat. It's guaranteed which is the only reason I tried it.
