I love Hurley on LOST. I think he is the "heart & soul" of the show. It just wouldn't be the same show without him. So this is my tribute lens to Hurley. Hurley was involved in an accident where a deck he was standing on collapsed and several people were killed. After this accident Hurley stopped talking and eventually went to live in a mental hospital. At the hospital he had an imaginary friend named Dave.
While in the hospital Hurley met Leonard Sims, another patient who constantly mumbled the numbers 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, and 42 over and over again. When Hurley left the hospital he used the numbers to win $156 million in the lottery. He believes the numbers are cursed and have brought those around him bad luck.
Hurley was in Australia to find the origin and meaning of the numbers and was on his way home when the plane crashed.
