- One of my all time favorites is Wes "Big Wes" Unseld whom I had the chance to meet in 1964 when he and Dallas "Big D" Thornton were members of the Kentucky Boys High School All Star Team.
Wes Unseld was a "beast" in college playing for the University of Louisville and later as a professional with the Washington Bullets of the NBA where he spent his entire professional career. Wes was one of 2 players to be named NBA Rookie of the Year and Most Valuable Player. The Bullets won the 1978 NBA Championship with Big Wes leading the way.
Dallas Thornton was a 2 time All American at Kentucky Weslyan College and led them to 3 Division 2 Championships in 1965, 1966, and 1968. Spent 2 seasons with the Miami Heat of the ABA League and 13 seasons with the world famous Harlem Globetrotters and was inducted in 2004 as a team into the Naismith Hall of Fame.

- I think Dwight Howard will be on here when it's all said and done. No one tops Jordan. Kobe and Lebron should finish up in the Top 5.

- What about Rick Barry? you have Mchale listed and stockton. Barry is the only palyer to win a championship in the NCAA, ABA, and NBA. Stockton and the mailman were great but never won a title only because of MJ but Mchale was good, just not the bread and butter of that celtics era.
