It's usually not wise to buy an equity when all the Experts are talking it up. Wait for a pullback/correction, make a shopping list of BoB's for such an occasion

To join just create a free Facebook account, go to the link and join, its open to all and we especially want friends who are interested in learning how to maximize returns using Point and Figure charting (PnF) coupled with investing in Best of Breed equities. These can be stocks, ETF's, Mutual funds, Options trades, or a combination of all, the key is to find the best in each sector and identify good entry points. We recommend a strongly diversified data driven approach, its really not rocket science.

Make a shopping list of the best of the best and either, A- Buy when the entire market is in panic mode (i.e.- January 08') or B- when PnF charts show the proper entry point. Always know your stop out point before buying anything and NEVER ride a losing trade for long.

Following these methods my friend and I have consistently achieved 20-30% returns for many years and currently my BoB (Best of Breed) portfolio is up >30% since the January 08' lows. I've been entirely self employed and living off my returns since 05' after spending decades in the semiconductor industry where I was troubleshooting some of the most advanced chip making tools in the industry. My friends story is just about the same and we are both MUCH happier outside the corporate world. The mindset and ability to "think outside the box" while taking into account hundreds of variables in the semi world has helped us both a great deal in the investment world as well.

We're discussing analysis using PnF charts, how to use the charts, how to spot good moves or up and coming stocks, how to trade Options and we are open to all inputs. We are also giving advice and discussing how to survive corrections and profit during downturns using ETF's. Does this sound too good to be true, it's not and it's not easy beating the street either. It takes some knowledge, patience, and ability to learn PnF charting (which isn't difficult). Our successes thus far stem from our personalities, I am focused on world events and big picture economic interconnections, while my friend is the data driven PnF charting and Options trading expert. It's a powerful combination!

Feel free to add new discussions (preferably not about politics), we are open to all ideas, opinions, stock picks, etc..., just follow the standard rules.

Some characteristics of a BoB equity- The company has proprietary products, consistently beats all competitors on earnings and metrics, has a lot of cash, and is buying back their own stock regularly. This usually equates into the companies that COST the most to buy in their given sector but not always. BoB's can also be equities on a serious momentum move!
