Kevin Spacey's Best Performances

Whether it's his award winning performance in The Usual Suspects and American Beauty to his directorial debut with Albino Alligator (which he also acted in), Kevin Spacey is definitely one of the premier actors of our day.  Some of my other favorites are a quiet teacher (Pay it Forward), a comic supervillan (Superman Returns), a salesman (see Glengarry Glen Ross or The Big Kahuna) and a hostage negotiator (The Negotiator).  In addition to acting, directing, producing and writing, he's a pretty amazing impressionist!  See the YouTube video below.

In addition to being a stellar actor, he's also a director (seek out Albino Alligator if you haven't seen it) and he's also running the Old Vic in London.  I saw him on Charlie Rose and when Charlie asked him why he was doing what he was doing with the Old Vic, he said when you reach the top [of your industry], be sure to send the elevator back down.  I thought that was a great quote, and definitely some words to live by.
