I don't know how you, but I just love pizzas, I must eat minimum one per week, funny? ;D But it's true. I had eaten a lot of pizzas, but really not all are delicious. People must know which pizzas they like and which they don't. I created this lens, cause I want share my Top 10 pizzas recipes.

Greek Grilled Pizza

There's no better way to cook a pizza than on the grill. This high, dry heat makes it the perfect pizza oven. This Greek inspired pizza is loaded with great flavors and sure to make everyone happy.

Prep Time: 25 minutes
Cook Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

3 tablespoons olive oil
1/8 teaspoon salt
6 drops red pepper sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tablespoons fresh basil (2 teaspoons dried)
3 green onions, sliced
2 medium tomatoes, seeded and chopped
48 ounces frozen pizza crust dough, thawed
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
2 ounces feta cheese, crumbled
about 10 olives, cut in half


Preparation:

Combine oil, salt, pepper sauce and garlic together. Set aside 1 tablespoon, then add basil, onions and tomatoes to mixture and toss. Cover and let stand at room temperature for about 30 minutes to blend flavors.
Preheat grill. Divide dough in half and roll each half into 8 inch circles on a floured surface. Carefully place crusts on hot grill and heat for about 1 to 2 minutes or until they begin to brown. Remove crusts from grill. Place browned side up and brush with the reserved olive oil mixture. Top with tomato mixture, cheeses and olives.

Carefully return to grill. This is easier if you use a cookie sheet to carry the pizzas. Close lid and continue grilling for about 2 to 4 minutes or until bottom has browned and cheese is melted. Serve.

Grilled Feta and Tomato Pizza

This is a simple, yet delicious grilled pizza recipe. Remember to use tomatoes that aren't overly ripe and let the pizza cook long enough to get the feta melting.

Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 6 minutes

Ingredients:

1 32 ounce package frozen bread dough
6 large tomatoes, cut into thin slices
1 cup feta cheese
1/2 cup fresh basil, chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
olive oil


Preparation:

To prepare dough: Thaw dough and split into 4 equal parts. (Or make your own: Grilled Pizza Crusts.) Roll each portion into a 1/4 inch thick disc. Brush with olive oil and place on the grill. Cook one side only for 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
Brush tomatoes with oil and grill on medium heat for 1-2 minutes, making sure not to turn them. Combine feta cheese with basil, salt, and black pepper. Place grilled tomatoes on the cooked side of pizza crust. Top off with feta cheese mixture. Place pizzas back on the grill. Cook raw dough side for 4 minutes. Remove from heat and serve.

Italian Sausage and Bell Pepper Pizza

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

1 pound sweet or hot italian sausages
1 red bell pepper, seeded and cut in half
1 yellow bell pepper, seeded and cut in half
4 roma tomatoes, thinly sliced
2 cups grated mozzarella cheese
3/4 cup olive oil
1/2 cup grated parmesan
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
4 cloves garlic minced
2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
one recipe Pizza Dough or one package frozen pizza dough.


Preparation:

Preheat grill. Divide pizza dough into 4 equal pieces. Roll into rounds about 8 to 9 inches in diameter. Combine olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic and rosemary. Brush bell peppers lightly with mixture. Place sausage and bell peppers on hot grill. Grill until peppers have started to blacken and blister and sausage is sizzling and browned. Remove from grill and cut the peppers into thin strips and the sausage into thin slices. Place pizza rounds on hot grill. Allow to slight brown on both sides. Remove from grill and top with cheeses, sausage and bell peppers. Light drizzle olive oil mixture over the top and return to the grill over a low heat. Close lid and grill until cheese is melted. Remove and serve.

Grilled Mexican Pizza

This fantastic grilled pizza recipe is a cross between a pizza and a tostada.

Prep Time: 12 minutes
Cook Time: 6 minutes

Ingredients:

4 whole pita bread or small pre-cooked pizza crusts
1 to 1 1/2 cups pepper-jack cheese, shredded
1 cup cook chicken or steak,. chopped
2 large tomatoes
1 large avocado, sliced
1/4 cup green onions, sliced
1/4 cup jalapeños, fresh or pickled
1 to 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 tablespoon lime juice
1 teaspoon cumin powder
salt and pepper to taste


Preparation:

Preheat grill for medium heat. Combine all ingredients beside pita bread and cheese, in a medium mixing bowl, set aside. Place pita rounds on grill and allow to cook for two minutes. Turn pita and sprinkle with pepper-jack cheese. Cover and allow to cook for an additional 5 minutes. Remove cooked pitas, place in a large platter, top with avocado and tomato mixture, and serve.

Philly Style White Pizza

The traditional Philly pizza has no sauce but is loaded with garlic and topped with roast beef, mushrooms and of course, a lot of cheese. This recipe makes four delicious personal sized Philly pizzas.

Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

8 ounces roast beef, shredded
1 medium onion, sliced
1 green bell pepper, sliced
8 ounces mushrooms, slices
1 loaf frozen white bread dough, thawed
8 cloves garlic, crushed
3 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
4 cups shredded cheese, assorted
1/4 cup parmesan cheese, shredded
5 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon black pepper


Preparation:

Divide dough into four equal parts. Roll out into thin cirles. Set aside. Sauté onions and peppers in 1 tablespoon of olive oil until soft. Add roast beef, mushrooms, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, and garlic powder. Continue cooking over a low heat until heated evenly. Preheat grill. Grill each pizza dough round on one side for about 2 minutes or until they just start to brown. Brush the browned side of each pizza round with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Spread two crushed cloves of garlic over each pizza. The sprinkle a light layer of cheese and top each pizza with equal amounts of the roast beef mixture. Top with remaining cheeses. Place the pizzas on the grill over a medium heat and cook until the cheese is completely melted. Remove from grill and serve.

Grilled Spicy Sausage Pizza

This is a lively grilled sausage pizza. You can choose a milder sausage if this one is too spicy.

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

1 32 ounce frozen bread dough
1/2 pound ground spicy pork sausage
1 yellow bell pepper, cut into strips
8 ounces Monterey Jack Cheese, shredded
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
olive oil


Preparation:

To prepare dough: Thaw dough and split into 4 equal parts. Roll each portion into a 1/4 inch thick disk. Brush with olive oil and place on the grill. Cook one side only for 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
Place sausage in a large pan and cook until browned. Drain excess liquid. Combine cheese, bell pepper, sausage, pepper,and salt in a bowl. Place a hearty spoonful on the grilled side of each pizza crust. Place pizzas back on the grill, and cook raw side for an additional 4-5 minutes. Remove from heat and serve.

Pulled Pork Pizza

This pizza recipe is a great way to serve up those pulled pork leftovers.

Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

1 pound pulled pork meat
1 red onion, cut into thin slices
2 medium dill pickles, cut into thin slices
4 roma tomatoes, thinly sliced
2 cups grate mozzarella cheese
one recipe Pizza Dough or one package
one recipe Pizza Dough or one package frozen pizza dough.


Preparation:

Preheat grill. Divide pizza dough into 4 equal pieces. Roll into rounds about 8 to 9 inches in diameter. Place pizza rounds on hot grill. Allow to slight brown on both sides. Remove from grill and top with barbecue sauce, pulled pork, onion, pickles, tomatoes and cheese, in that order. Return to the grill over a low heat. Close lid and grill until cheese is melted. Remove and serve.

Grilled Pita Pizzas

The pita bread acts as the crust for this pizza recipe. If you are not a fan of feta, you can use goat cheese or blue cheese instead.

Prep Time: 12 minutes
Cook Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

4 pita breads
1 cup tomatoes, seeded and diced
1/2 cup kalamata olives, pitted
1/2 cup red onion, diced
1/3 cup feta cheese, crumbled
4 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoon fresh mint, finely chopped

Preparation:

Preheat grill for medium-high heat. In medium bowl, combine tomatoes, olives, onion, mint, and 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Brush pita bread on both sides with remaining olive oil. Southwestern-Style Grilled Chicken Pizza

This is great way to use up any left over barbecued or grilled chicken.

Cook Time: 6 minutes

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups Monterey Jack cheese
1 cup barbecued or grilled chicken
1 cup mild salsa
1/3 cup poblano chile, roasted and thinly sliced
48 ounces frozen pizza crust dough, thawed
sour cream


Preparation:

Preheat grill. Divide dough in half and roll each half into 8 inch circles on a floured surface. Carefully place crusts on hot grill and heat for about 1 to 2 minutes or until they begin to brown. Remove crusts from grill. Apply toppings, first starting with salsa then chicken, sliced poblano chiles, and finally finishing with cheese. Carefully return to grill. This is easier if you use a cookie sheet to carry the pizzas. Close lid and continue grilling for about 2 to 4 minutes or until bottom has browned and cheese is melted. Serve with a dollop of sour cream on top of each slice.

Grilled Pepperoni Pizza

This simple and traditional pizza is easy to prepare for suitable for lunch or dinner any day of the week, and casual parties.

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 6 minutes

Ingredients:

1 to 1 1/2 cup grated mozzarella
1 cup pepperoni slices
1 cup tomato sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon basil
48 ounces frozen pizza crust, thawed


Preparation:

Combine tomato sauce with minced garlic, oregano, and basil. Set aside. Preheat grill. Divide dough in half and roll each half into 8 inch circles on a floured surface.     I think your top ten are fabulous! I love pizza. It's actually easier, quicker and far tastier to make your own pizza using a good recipe than it is to order take away.

    The pizzas sound delicious! We have family pizza night every Friday night. We will have to try some of these. Do you have a good recipe for homemade pizza dough? Not totally satisfied with the one I have now. Great lens - 5 stars!

    The Feta and tomato pizza sounds awesome. I love white pizza but I only eat it at a couple of my favorite spots in Philly, Jersey, and New York. Not everyone knows how to make it properly. Great lens.
