In the alternate reality called the Third Crusade, you will be reborn as an assassin. Yes, you do get to kill and maim but this game relies on your brains as well, not just your brawn. Otherwise, you'll never find your target or get out of the situation alive (or in one piece). 

Lair



Lair is nearly synonymous to monsters, ergo: dragons. You'll find plenty of these fire-spitting demons in this explosive PS3 game. Although lots of action happens on air (you will be controlling your own dragon to play the game), there's also plenty of ground action to satisfy the land animal in you. 


However, you might find more satisfaction in manipulating your own hell fire producing ride. Using the controller for navigation, you will direct your dragon where you want it to go, much as you would use reins. There are a few issues regarding graphics when you play on terra firma but all things considered, this is an excellent game to have.


Mercenaries 2: World in Flames


Speaking of fire, here's another PS3 game that will get the fire lover in you really pumped up and happy. It's not an environment-friendly game and might offend those who care about their surroundings (such as buildings, cars and other stuff) but then again, why play a game when it doesn't appeal to the inner you? 


This PS3 game is about fire, fire and more fire and as action continues, the game gets even hotter by the minute. And if you've always been miffed with older games where fire looked ridiculously closer to the one produced by your lighter, this game will take you higher. The fire system is realistic and detailed, enough to bring tears in your eyes.

Stranglehold


If you've always loved the slo-mo, elaborate action sequences of Hong Kong director John Woo and the cool, smooth riot of martial arts superstar Chow Yun-Fat, this is one PS3 game you will like. 


There's lots of action, silly but fantasy-powered acrobatics and yes, you will pack some firepower. Of course, what's a John Woo-inspired concoction without the drama? This is a great game to play, especially if you've always had a soft spot for Hong Kong-style action.


Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare


There's firepower and then there's firepower. You're on a mission, soldier. Say bye-bye to World War II nostalgia and hello to Modern Warfare. This is an intense game, with lots of impressive action and graphics. 


And the storyline isn't shabby either. You'll be battling it out using your wits and muscles with a Middle Eastern terrorist group. As if the first mission isn't tough enough, the next ones will test your mettle even more. There's plenty of intensive combat, surprising twists and lots of doggone reasons why you should play this PS3 game.
