- I love this look! Do you have any tips on finding well-fitting boots for those of us with wider feet and/or larger calves? I always fall in love with a beautiful pair of shoes just to be disappointed that they are cut too narrow...

- There are a couple of things: ARRAY boots are available in wide sizes on eBay. Lace up ankle high boots with a rounded toe tend to be better for those with wider feet, gives you a bit more flexibility.

- These shoes top off Steampunk outfits so well! Though that's only one of the reasons I love them, since I've always got a couple pairs, even long before I ever heard of Steampunk.

- A lot of these look exactly like the granny boots we wore back in the 1980s. Wish I still had mine! Those things were more comfortable than they look. Plenty of ankle support! We wore them with long skirts, under which were several layers of petticoats. On top we wore lacy blouses with a sweater or shawl, and at the throat a cameo or broach. Oh, we thought we looked so good with our huge, permed hairdos and all of this on. I loved getting dressed for work back then! Thanks for the memories!
