Want to Gain Muscle Fast? Then Eat Right!
To gain muscle fast, you must eat foods that will increase your muscle growth, whereas others will have the oppisite effect.
Before I go any further, let me just set the record straight. You do not need to take any supplements to gain muscle fast. The best protein you can get is from whole foods, do not waste money on any of those supplement pills and drinks. However, protein shakes are good portable drink to get plenty of protein. Protein drinks/bars/powders like from EAS are good to use to balance your protein and carbohydrate intake because they are extremely low in carbs, but high in protein. I drink one shake a day as my post workout meal.
Each day, you want to eat 6 small meals a day, not 3 big meals a day. In order to build muscle fast, you want to consume for calories than you burn. Avoid empty calories, these are calories from foods like candy, cake, ice cream, etc. You want to eat none of that junk. You want to limit your sugar intake as much as possible, especially refined sugars.
Eat a meal every 2 1/2 to 3 hours. For the entire day, your intake of carbs, protein and fats should follow the 40 40 20 rule, which means that 40% of your intake is protein, 40% is carbohydrates and the 20% is fats. Be sure to consume your daily vegetables and fresh fruits.
An example of my morning breakfast would be 6 egg whites, a bowl of oatmeal and a glass of milk. For each meal after that, I drink a bottle of water. Water is extremely good for you and helps keep you hydrated. The recommend amount of water to drink daily is to take your weight and divide it in half. That number is how many ounces of water you should drink daily. For someone who weights 150lbs, they should drink 75 ounces of water a day.
One of the main reasons why people fail to gain muscle fast or even gain muscle at all is because they do follow a proper meal plan. By following Athlean X's meal plan you will not only burn fat, get ripped muscle fast. If you want to learn more about it, check out my Athlean X Review.
A Welll Planned Routine Is A Must to Gain Muscle Fast
If you want to gain muscle fast, you must have a well planned routine or you will be wasting your time and energy.
Many try to gain muscle fast, but always seem to fail even though they workout constantly. Have you ever gone to the gym for months and never really noticed much of a difference. It seems like all your workouts are not doing you any good? This happens to many people, including me. It's because you are doing it wrong. How can go to the gym and lift weights for months and be doing it wrong? Well, it's your routine. It's a bad routine. Your workout routine can be bad for several reasons, but the #1 reason for a bad, ineffective workout routine is that you do everything the same.
Many seem to believe that you can gain muscle fast by simple performing the same exercises over and over again. Well this is completely wrong. In fact, by performing the same exercises over and over again, you are completely wasting your time.
When you do something over and over again, you begin to get bored of it or possible really good at it, correct? Well your muscles think the same way. When you perform the same exercises, your muscles think that this is easy, I've done this many times before and therefore do not work hard as they should. Simply, adding more weight each time will not cut it either.
The best way to gain muscle fast is to have a well planned workout routine with a wide variety of workouts that get your muscles to work that it's their first time, every time. Athlean X workout system has a 90-Day workout routine with over 130+ workouts to perform. They are all scheduled for when you need to perform each and for how much. Is the Best Way to Gain Muscle Fast to Mix Cardio and Strength Training?
Many try to perform cardio workouts the same day as lifting weight exercises. Is it the best way to gain muscle fast?
I see it all the time. People mix cardio and weights to gain muscle fast, but they never seem to see the results they want. Why?Many try to kill two birds with one stone by performing cardio and strength training exercises on the same trip to the gym or just working out at home. However, this is not recommend.
First off, you do not want to overwork yourself. Perform weights on one day and cardio the next.
Another reason why you do not want to perform them the same day is because cardio actually burns muscle, by performing them the same day, your weight workouts will be worthless.
For best results, just like Athlean X's workout routine, you want to perform strength training exercises 3 days a week and cardio 2 days a week. You should alternate between them. For example, Monday is weights, Tuesday is Cardio, Wednesday is weights, and so on.
Another way may tend to overwork themselves is by working out more than they need to a week. You do not need to spend hours at the gym or working out at home everyday of the week to get stunning results. In fact, it is best to only workout for 3-5 days a week for about 30 minutes each day.
