The bikini, which has been such a hit over the past few years, actually was popular eons ago in Greece. Eventually swimming was banned altogether for a period of time and when it again resumed the type of apparel worn was entirely different. Today's swim wear reveals a woman's body, especially some of the bikinis. However, in addition to this style one will find many attractive suits on the market that are one and two pieced and are built to fit specific body shapes, not like the previous one style fits all. Today's fashion designers, are going beyond the everyday style and have added extras such as ruffles, bikini skirts and different textures.
