Welcome to PhotoReading

How would you like to memorize an entire book in under 20 minutes?

How would you like to be able to recite any word, line, or paragraph... on demand, from any book you read?

...it's possible!

Watch the video clip below.

British Derren Brown Memorises a book in 20 minutes

2 minute video clip

Derren Brown is Britain's most impressive mind performance man.

This video clip is the most impressive thing you will see this deade. Watch it. Don't skip it!

He appears to have a photographic memory, can recall any words, phrases, lines, or paragraphs from books he has read only once (from a massive UK library), can tell you what you're thinking about just by reading your face, and he will wow you in this youtube video...

How he does it...

Derren Brown mentions in the video clip that "it is a technique called PhotoReading".

PhotoReading was developed by Paul Scheele, of Learning Strategies Corporation, and is available as a book or a tape/CD course. The book is good (yes I own it), and the CD course is better (I own that too!).

If you're just a bit interested in PhotoReading (at one page per second), then get the book first. If you're a lot interested and you want to jump right in, get the CD course straight away.

You won't regret either decision.

The book is featured below, and you can find the CD course on the Learning Strategies website by Clicking Here.

The PhotoReading Whole Mind System

This is the book I bought when I first came across PhotoReading when I saw the video clip (above) on Television a few years ago.

It is a great book and will give a great structure to your understanding of PhotoReading.

PhotoReading overview by Paul Scheele

This is a 9-minute clip telling you more about PhotoReading.

If you're even mildly interested, and your PC is fast enough to watch youtube videos, make sure you watch this.

It'll help you make a decision about whether you want to buy the book or CD course or not.

Cool Link: Develop A Photographic Memory

A good e-course

There is a guy called Sten Morten Andersen who will email you a free 4-week memory course to get you on the road to having the impressive memory you wish you had.

You also get his private email address so you can ask him any questions you have along the way!

He has a really good product (at only $19) to go with his ecourse, but he doesn't push the sale and gives really good content in his emails.
"How To Develop A Photographic Memory"
Sten says "Give me one hour and I'll have you on your way to a stronger, faster memory!"

PhotoReading: Step 1

"The first step of the PhotoReading system is to prepare by stating a clear purpose and getting into an ideal state of mind for reading.

Too many of us read as if our minds only had one gear. Before we start to read, we should be aware of what we want to find out. It also helps if you have entered a state of mind that switches on the whole mind-you will be able to do that with the amazing Tangerine Technique!

At first it will take you ten minutes to do this step, but within a very short time you'll be able to prepare in just a few seconds."

PhotoReading: Step 2

"Then preview the materials so that your brain learns how to sort the information that will soon be absorbed by PhotoReading.

The military teaches "Time spent in reconnaissance is seldom wasted." It holds true in reading. Using our special preview techniques, your mind lays down a mental grid onto which the data you PhotoRead flows.

This will take two to five minutes depending on the materials. You can spend more time, but resist. We'll tell you amazing reasons when you learn PhotoReading."

PhotoReading: Step 3

"This is the biggest step, the actual PhotoReading step, where your brain absorbs information right off the page.

PhotoReading literally teaches you to look at a book differently, because we teach you a unique way to diverge your eyes. This is one of the secrets to enable your whole mind to absorb information as you flip through your reading material. You'll go at one page per second, which is about 25,000 words a minute.

This step takes three to five minutes for the average book."

PhotoReading: Step 4

"With PhotoReading, you blast through pages so quickly that your conscious mind cannot possibly keep up. As a result, when you've finished PhotoReading a book, you will have little conscious knowledge. Enter the fourth step: activation.

Various activation techniques help you process and understand information so that you know it consciously and can use it on a day-to-day basis. One of these techniques is called super reading. It is similar to speed reading, but the results are far superior.

As a beginner you will be able to activate a book in one-third the time it would have taken you to read it regularly.

You're not reading three times faster, because you will actually go through the material multiple times using different techniques. Learning comes best in layers, so you learn to activate material one piece at a time.

Is it tough? Not once you know our step-by-step process!"

PhotoReading: Step 5

"The fifth and final step is optional, because you will skip it with most books. Rapid reading allows you to build even greater comprehension and understanding from complex books.

While this technique comes close to regular reading, the level of comprehension it facilitates surpasses what you could ever get from regular reading. You will typically use rapid reading with more difficult subjects or with pleasure reading where you want more time to savor and play."
