Betty vs Veronica

Some days (actually most days) I wish I was Archie Andrews from the Archie Comics series. Even though I would have a # sign on the side of my head and be ever fearful of my jalopy crudding out, not to mention always looking over my shoulder for that fiend, Reggie Mantle. I would make MY DECISION in front of the entire town of Riverdale. My pal, Jughead Jones, would film it for extra credit in Miss Grundy's class. Mr. Weatherbee's nose would twinkle in anticipation...

Would I choose Veronica Lodge? A rich and beautiful snob. Or Betty Cooper? A beautiful tomboy. Both look teriffic in bathing suits. Hum-a-na, Hum-a-na. Both think I'm good looking despite the nasty cowlick of a # sign in my hair.

The answer...VERONICA of course because her dad is loaded and he could buy me a new damn jalopy. I could start a life of decadence and privelage with Veronica. The chase for Veronica excites me. I never know if she'll kiss my cheek or pour a bowl of spaghetti over my head because I forgot my wallet in my jalopy that broke down seven blocks from the restaurant. What's Betty going to give me--a few tips on how to throw a curveball or a transmission flush? Not on my watch--which would be, incidentally, a Rolex from big papa Mr. Lodge.

Or I could keep playing them both (with sexy results) and continue to hang out eating burgers with my lazy beatnik best friend Jughead at Pop Tates.

Or maybe I should give Midge a ring. I heard her knucklehead boyfriend Moose is in the hospital for shrunken nads due to steroid abuse at the insistence of Coach Cleats.

I'll never make up my mind. No wait, it's definitely Veronica. She has a pool.
