Art: The Outward Expression Of An Inner Life
Formerly known as "My Artful Soul", which was primarily an autobiographical-type lens, it has slowly been evolving into a different direction, and so I have decided to restyle and rename the lens towards that end. instead of a "Story of My Life" themed lens, I want to focus on featuring artists and their work from venues such as eBay and CafePress, and offer an enriching experience through displaying beautiful, artistically elegant YouTube videos and Flickr Photos and Slideshows. Visitors will also be able to browse and shop for unusual, unique and beautiful artwork, books about art and other art gift items from Beverly's Art Boutique, Amazon.com, Art Cards Wanted.com, and CafePress, to name just a few. Optional mood music for my Artdreamer Gallery lens is also envisioned for your enjoyment; something you can choose to lisiten to, or not, as your preference dictates. With all that being said, I hope you will enjoy this lens as it is intended, as an oasis of beauty in both the smooth-sailing and difficult times of your life.

"All Saints church was built for the Church of England in 1864 to the designs of the great George Bodley, perhaps the most consistently brilliant of all 19th century English church architects. It is a high Tractarian temple designed in the Decorated style, and is generally considered to be Bodley's masterpiece. Pre-Raphaelite Art - My Favorite Genre
I'm attracted to many different types of artwork, but the genre that appeals to me the most is the Pre-Raphaelite Art Movement. In 1848 Victorian England, a group of English artists, poets and art critics formed an association they named the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood. These artists and those that followed took their inspiration from mythology, legends, the Bible, poetry and nature to create richly colored, highly detailed paintings and illustrations like the one you see here to the right, by Dante Gabriel Rossetti. I love the solitude, the mystery, the smell of pine trees and the earth, shafts of sunlight shooting through the canopy to the forest floor beneath. This original ACEO is an altered image compilation created by me, Beverly Bangert. Beautiful wildflower border design in subtle shades of burgundy, dark plum, yellow, gold, rust and green. The angel is garbed in a flowing white robe with red hair, holding a flower bouquet standing on a fluffy white cloud. Her wings are in tones of soft pink, grey and taupe.
